He has mentored hundreds of practitioners in Functional Medicine, directed powerful docuseries such as The Betrayal Series (spotlighting solutions for autoimmune disease) and The Inflammation Equation, and continues to educate and inspire through his role as the owner of Bellingham Functional Medicine.
With 22 years of clinical experience, Tom brings a rare combination of deep scientific expertise and real-world application. Beyond his professional work, Tom is the proud father of five children and finds his greatest joy in the mountains.
With over 20 years in the medical field, Lyndsay has seen firsthand what truly helps—and what falls short. For 13 years as a registered nurse, she witnessed the limits of conventional care, where prescriptions often replaced deeper solutions. Her background spans 5 years in family practice and 10 years in home health, giving her a broad perspective on the challenges people face across all stages of life.
Now just months away from becoming a licensed Nurse Practitioner, Lyndsay is also trained in functional medicine and is currently precepting with a Functional Medicine DNP. Over the past 3 years, she has worked as a health coach, guiding clients through nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement strategies with clarity and confidence. Her extensive knowledge of supplements is grounded in both science and experience, allowing her to help people cut through the confusion and find what truly supports healing.
As a mother of three boys, she also understands the importance of practical, sustainable habits that keep energy and well-being at the center of family life. Looking ahead, she plans to open her own functional medicine clinic in Bellingham in 2026, but for now, she brings her expertise, passion, and heart to this retreat.
